Burial will be Friday, at 2 p.m. at Crown Memorial Park in Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Surviving are his children, Larry Ray Grimes, Deborah Gail Grimes and Wilton Charles Grimes, Jr.; stepchildren, Alan Vance Greer, Billy Wayne Greer and Rebecca Lynn Schneider; brother, Brooks Ray Grimes, Sr.; 5 grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren; 1 great grandson and 13 step great grandchildren.
