IRENE MARTIN
Services for Irene Martin, 68, 502 Sunset Avenue, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Sellergren Lindell Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Hill officiating and burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin died Saturday at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital after a years illness.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Johnson, she was born May 23, 1913 at Essex and was reared in the Essex Community. She lived in Florida for 10 years and had lived in the Red Oak Community since 1947. She was married in 1935 to William H. Martin, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Gaylen Westerland, Lincoln, Nebraska; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a brother Carl W. Johnson, Mesa, Arizona.
Mrs. Martin was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and its Ruth Group and a member of Oak Chapter No. 95 of Order of Eastern Star.
