She was married to Oscar Castaneda-Alvarez, the love of her life, for 12 beautiful years. She was a dedicated employee of the Greene County Prosecutors office for 22 years. Anyone who knew Sheri, understood her extreme obsession for Halloween. Bats and vampires were not just a holiday tradition for Sheri, it was an every day way of life for her. She enjoyed shopping, decorating and making every day special for those she cared about. It did not have to be a holiday or birthday for her to do something meaningful for those she loved.
Sheri was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hurshel and Vera Collison; aunt, Beverly Collison and her beloved mother, Wanda Harris.
She is survived by her husband, Oscar Castaneda; father, Bill Harris; aunt, Pat Collison; sisters, Lori Harris and Chiquita Hendrick; nephew, Jeffery Peterson; nieces, Jourdyn McKinney and Dani Harris; and great-nephew, Brody Harris.
