Mrs. Mary Schuffle Barger, a well known resident of this city, passed away at her home, 211 East Eleventh street, last evening after a lingering illness. The deceased was seventy-six years of age and a native of New Jersey. She has resided in this state for many years, coming to Iowa in 1851. Her husband, Charles Barger, died last winter. Mrs. Barger had a wide circle of acquaintances and the announcement of her death will be received with general regret. She is survived by three children, Misses Margaret and Anna, who are teachers in the public schools, and Miss Kate at home. The funeral will be held from the family residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in Oakdale.
