Services for Dolores LaVerne Lambright, age 8,5 of Palestine will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Bois D'Arc Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Drinkard officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mrs. Lambright died January 2, 2016, at Green Oaks Nursing Center in Athens. She was born June 3, 1930 in Anderson County to Hugh and Mae Bell Pinkerton Richardson. Mrs. Lambright was an active member of Bois D'Arc Baptist Church. She also worked 9 years for Brookshires where she was the bakery manager for five years and worked as an aid at Cayuga ISD for 4 years. Mrs. Lambright was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jessie Melvin Lambright in 2002, a son Jimmy Melvin Lambright in 1999, a sister Carolyn “Tootsie” Richardson, and a brother Hugh Richardson, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Carol Pugh and husband Jerry of Athens, a brother Harold Richardson and wife Inez of Athens, grandchildren, Jennifer Rummel and husband Alan of Athens, Christi Lambright of Houston, and Jerry Lynn Pugh II and wife Mandy of Bullard, two great grandchildren, Mallary Rummel and Madelyn Rummel. Pallbearers will be Jerry Lynn Pugh II, Alan Rummel, Paul Benson, Brad Rummel, Jon Pugh, Jr., Eddie Smith, Joe Harris, and Stephen Drinkard.
