Theo. Jorgenson Funeral Held November 19
Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 19 for Theodore D. Jorgenson, 77, who died Friday, November 16 in St. Olaf hospital following injuries received in a car accident November 3. The Rev. Stanley Klemesrud officiated, and interment was in the church cemetery.
Theodore Jorgenson, the son of Christoffer and Helen Jorgenson, was born in Nevada township January 11, 1890. He was baptized and confirmed in Six Mile Grove church and attended the Pinehurst rural school.
On February 11, 1914 he was married to Dora nelson, and the couple lived at Lyle, Princeton and Austin, Minn. He was engaged in farming, and also at Geo. A. Hormel Co. from 1942-1958.
He is survived by his wife, Dora; four sons, Ernest, Englewood, Calif.; Harold, Jackson, Minn.; Thorman, Spring Valley, Minn.; and Eugene of Austin; also three daughters, Mrs. Ben (Iona) Lorenz of Palo Alto, Calif., Mrs. Willard (Corala) Lang, Van Nuys, Calif., Mrs. Larry (Carlene) Fox, Grenada Hills, Calif., 24 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two brothers, Gus T. of Lyle and George of Oak Park, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Effie Van House, Mrs. Ruth Ames, Austin, and Mrs. Cora Carlson, Hermosa Beach, Calif.
