ELMER JOHNSON SHELTON SR., husband of Hattie Anna Shelton of Frederick Junction, died Tuesday morning in Frederick Memorial Hospital at the age of 66.

He is survived by his wife and the following children: Elmer J. Shelton, Jr., Mrs. Mary Pauline Solt, Mrs. Betty K. Burrier, and Edward W. Shelton, all of Frederick; Mrs. Helen Main, Route 2, Frederick; Mrs. Beulah Louise Tourtlelotte, Hartford, Ct.; Mrs. Georgianna R. Routzahn, Jefferson; and Mrs. Geraldine Burdge, South Bend, In.; three sisters, Mrs. Augusta Ray, Rt. 2 Frederick; and Mrs. Elsie Tyeryar and Mrs. Robert A. Kline, both of Frederick; and 13 grandchildren.

Mrs. Shelton was a member of Araby Methodist Church and was a retired employe of the M.J. Grove Lime Company.

Funeral services were held at the Robert E. Dailey and Son Funeral Home; interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
