Roy Robert Pinder Sr. 68 a native Conch was called home on December 23, 2015 with his family by his side at the Key West Health Rehabilitation Center in Key West, Florida. He was born in Key West on June 21, 1947. He was preceded in death by his mother Ola Pinder, brother Charlie Pinder, wife Cecelia Alfonso Pinder, father-in-law Ralph L. Alfonso, mother-in-law Willa Mae Pierce Alfonso and son Roy Robby Pinder, Jr. He is survived by his father Charles William (Billy) Pinder, his good friend Winnie Bochenick, his daughter Valerie (Wally) Moore, son Jonathan (Jessica) Pinder Sr., grandchildren, Wally Moore III, Charles William Moore, Alyssa Pinder and Jonathan Pinder Jr. Roy is also survived by his sister-in-law Helen (Ross) Balbuena, brother-in-law Ralph (Terri) Alfonso and daughter-in-law Brenda Cabanas, as well as many nieces and nephews by many nieces and nephews. < /p>
Roy was a commercial fisherman. God provided the seafood and he caught it and always supplied his family with the finest seafood the ocean had to offer. Never once did his family ever go without eating top notch lobster and fish. He will always be remembered for his generous, giving heart. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Daddy we love you. May God bless you and keep you by his side until we meet again. We would like to say a very special thank you to the LKMC ICU Angels, to the KWHR Nurse Angels and to all the staff for their caring and compassionate care to our father. Services will be held on January 6, at 2 p.m. at Fifth Street Baptist Church, 1311 5th Street, Key West, FL 33040. The Dean-Lopez Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
