Betty English departed this life on Friday, December 18, 2015, at the age of 78 years, 9 months, 10 days. She was born in Athens, Alabama on March 8, 1937, the daughter of the late Thomas and Juanita Grisham Landtroop. On June 28, 1957, she was united in marriage to Oty Lee English, who preceded her in death on September 2, 2006.

Betty had lived in Hardin County for 46 years. She had worked for Sears, in Savannah, for 6 years and Clayton Mobile Homes for 8 years. She enjoyed being outside gardening and doing yard work. She always kept her yard looking nice.

She is survived by her sisters, Judy Antrim of San Diego, California and Carnell Hancock of Kansas City, Kansas; nephew, Ronald Landtroop of Michigan City, Indiana; nieces, Kay DeVault of Kansas City, Kansas and Teresa Finley of San Diego, California.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Adrian and John Thomas Landtroop.
