Scott was born Feb. 19, 1957, in Washington, the son of Kenneth Klemm and wife Theola, nee Toben. Scott served his country in the U.S. Air Force, and was united in marriage to Margaret "Peggy" Moore Sept. 23, 1983, in St. Louis He loved his family dearly and was a wonderful husband, son, father and grandfather. Scott shared his love of the outdoors with his sons, and they enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the fresh air together. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1121 and worked at Barnes-Jewish Hospital for 35 years.
Scott is survived by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Klemm, Washington; three sons, Daniel Klemm and wife Lindsay, Krakow, Stuart Klemm and wife Brittany, Fort Bragg, N.C., and Michael Klemm, Washington; his parents, Kenneth and Theola Klemm; six grandchildren, Mason and Nolan, Krakow, Millam, Hayden, Riley and Owen, Fort Bragg, N. C.; two siblings, Mike Klemm and wife Elaine, and Lisa Redell, all of Washington; his mother-in-law, Louise O. Moore, Ellisville; five siblings-in-law, Virginia Robert and husband Tom, Marble Hill, Cynthia Thornton and husband Joseph, Elmhurst, Ill., James Moore and wife Jane, St. Louis, Gilbert E. Moore and wife Mary, Ballwin, and Mary Ellen Ritchey and husband Terry, Fenton; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Gilbert Moore Sr., and one brother-in-law, Larry Redell.
Visitation was held at Miller Funeral Home, Washington, Sunday, Dec. 27, from 2 to 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Washington.
Interment followed at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Cemetery, Washington.
