Margaret, daughter of Emil and Augusta Hapke Schidlowski, lived and worked in Cleveland, Ohio. It was only after her mother and father had passed away that she left Cleveland and moved to California in 1953. She was married twice before marrying Ellsworth F. Hellman in California. At Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland, she was baptized Sophia Theresa Schidlowski, but always went by the name Margaret Joyce. Margaret never had children. She outlived her brother Albert and her sister and best friend, Emma Schidlowski Micle.
