EMMA JANE CUMMINGS TULLER
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Emma Jane Cummings Tuller was the daughter of George Washington Cummings (aka COMMINS) who served out of Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania in the U.S. Civil War. Emma was the granddaughter of American Revolutionary War Soldier (and his 2rd or 3rd, much younger wife) LODEMA BLANCHARD CUMMINGS. Emma was the wife of Charles "Charlie" M. Tuller. After Emma Jane's death, in Crawford County, Michigan, he moved west to Kansas and then on to the Oklahoma "Foot Race" for land.
Emma died shortly after her last baby, Grace B. Tuller, was born--in South Branch Twp. Emma survived and was sent back to New York then Pennsylvania. The 7 surviving children were scattered out and sent back East and some of them adopted when their grandmother, a widow, Sally Jane Schoonover Comings/Cummings, could no longer take care of them.
Several of the kids later followed their Dad to Oklahoma.
