Mrs. Ruth Jordan Clark, age 77, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away December 19, 2015.
She was born October 27, 1938, in Tallapoosa to the late Franklin Hughie “Scratcher” and Maude Whittaker Jordan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Caleb Key.
Ruth was a longtime member of the Tallapoosa United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Summerville; a sister, Rheta Wright both of Tallapoosa; a granddaughter and her husband, Tiffany Leigh and Bryan Robinson of Buchanan; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan Key, Cameron Robinson and Luke Robinson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Tallapoosa United Methodist with Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating. Music will be provided by Lynn Cole.
Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends Monday, December 21st between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00 PM.
