Jo was always a hard worker and worked in bookkeeping and retail sales. She worked at King Furs, Cain Sloan, Talhimers, The Trousseau and The Happy Heart among others. She was a docent at the Carter House, Franklin, TN and a volunteer at The Memphis Zoo. She enjoyed reading, sewing, scrapbooking, traveling, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, Nascar and going to yard sales and estate sales looking for treasures to put in her booth at the Antique mall.
Jo was member of Ardmore Baptist Church and recently attended Fountain of Truth Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Patty Morrison and her husband Mitch, of Nashville, TN and Susan McFarland, of Jackson, TN. Three beloved Grandsons, Joseph McFarland and wife Rebekah, of Three Way, TN, John Morrison, of Greenville, SC, and Clay Morrison, of Nashville, TN. One sister, Janice Wadley and husband Joe, of Middlefork, TN. One niece, Karen Wadley Massengill and husband David, of Middlefork, TN and one Great nephew, Aiden Massengill and one Great Niece Sadie Jo Massengill.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 1 PM at Reed's Chapel in Lexington, TN. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5 PM - 8 PM and Saturday from 11 AM until service.
