Mrs. Burns was born April 1, 1919, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of Norman B. Dennis and Emma Cavanaugh Dennis. She lived in St. Francis County most of her life, was a homemaker, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Palestine.
Mrs. Burns married Donald K. Burns in 1939, and he preceded her in death in 2002. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She had one sister, Anita D. Wingo, two brothers; Charles Dennis and Bennett Dennis, who all preceded her in death.
Services for Mrs. Burns will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery.
