According to his obit ''Mr. MacDougall entered business life and for many years operated a store in Fenelon Falls, and later engaged in the Insurance business. Actively interested in community affairs, he served as Reeve of the village. He also held for some years the position of Clerk of the Division Court.'' He was a veteran of WW I and served with the 202nd Battalion.
