Francesco "Cheech" Russo of Trevose, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at St. Mary's Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was 65. Born in Carini, Sicily and a resident of Trevose for the past 21 years. Francesco was a veteran of the Italian Army. He, along with his family, own and operate Chicco's Pizzeria in Trevose. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Rosaria "Serena" (LoMonaco); his children, Gioacchino Russo (Silvia), Vito Russo (Sandra) and Filippo Russo; one sister, Giacoma Gambino; and seven grandchildren, Francesco, Roberta, Benny, Francesco, Samuel, Guiliana and Andrea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Assumption BVM Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Road., Feasterville, PA 19053 followed by his funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
