She was one of the leaders in the V.F.W. and United Spanish War Veterans Auxiliary, active in the Women's Club and political circles in Arizona. She was past president of the Women's Relief Corps of this district, past president of Arizona, past president of the United Spanish American War Veterans Auxiliary of Arizona, and a member of the National Council of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was a mentor of the Martha Washington charter of the Rebekah lodgeof Kingston, Pennsylvania and a member of the Women's club of Globe.
She was born at Wilkesbarre, Penn. on Oct. 31, 1875. She came to Miami with her husband about 1916. She was stricken with breast cancer. Her last public appearance in Miami was as chairman of the Judge R.C. Stanford rally in Miami.
She was survived by her husband, W.D. Anderson; four sisters; two brothers.
