Geraldine was born March 1, 1931 in Eastland, Texas to Artie and Ray Brannan.

She graduated from Amarillo High School and married Robert “Bob” Barrington in Amarillo on August 1, 1948. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage before he predeceased her in 2005.

She was a 50 year member of First Baptist Church of Amarillo and remained active in the church until her health declined. She was a scout leader and loved camping, RV travel, and bowling, She and her husband traveled to South America and Hawaii.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Artie Brannan, siblings Milton Brannan, Coy Brannan and Jean Banes and great grandson Brandon Henriquez.

She is survived by her children, Dianne McClish and husband Dennis, Larry Barrington, David Barrington and wife Sandra all of Amarillo, and Becky O’Connor and husband Terry of Borden, Indiana; 7 grandchildren, Cathy Henriquez, Kimberly Vincent, James Vincent and Darcy Watson, Jeremy Barrington, Valerie Barrington and husband Jamie, Michael O’Connor and wife Michelle and Patrick O’Connor; 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Donna Bas and husband Jo of Colorado Springs, CO; and by several nieces and nephews.
