Mrs. Lambert, 86, died Nov. 19, 2002, at King's Daughters Medical Center.
She was born in Lawrence County on July 10, 1916, to Daniel Hampton and Jestie Thames Hampton.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Temple Pentecostal Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Elmer N. Lambert; and her son, Connie J. Lambert.
Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Donald K. and Esta Lambert of Brookhaven; her daughters and son-in-law, Bonnie Beeson of Orange Park, Fla., Nonnie B. Crawford of Laurel, and Donnis and Jerry Holmes of Brookhaven; her brother, D. W. Hampton of Jackson; her sisters, Oma Lee Rutland of Monticello, Eva Nell Fuller of Brookhaven, Geneva Smith of Pearl and Kristene Wilcox of Lumberton; and 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
