The death of Mrs. Keren Hill early Tuesday morning was a shock to thousands of friends in Atlanta and throughout the south. She was stricken suddenly with apoplexy at the home of her son, Dr. DeLos Hill, on Ponce de Leon avenue, and died befoer regaining consciousness.
Mrs. Hill for a long time was vice president of the Pioneer Women's Society, and an officer in teh church society at Trinity, where she was a member for many years.
Mrs. Hill, who was born in this city 65 years ago, spent all of her life in Atlanta. The family home then stood on the site of the Terminal Hotel on Mitchell street.
She was an active worker in her many interests, and was tireless in her efforts in assisting the Home for the Friendless and other charitable organizations.
She is survived by her son, Dr. DeLos Hill. The funeral will be held from the Trinity Methodist church WEdnesday morning at 10:30 o'clock. The interment will be in Oakland cemetery.

A second obituary the next day indicates she was also survived by two sisters, Mrs. C. J. Kicklighter, of Atlanta, and Mrs. James Bulloch, of Dallas, Ga.∼In the 1880 Federal Census, she was listed as a widow living with her two sons, Frank age 8 and Delos age 6.
