Andrew Bryant, 87, will be held at 12 noon Friday, August 25, 2006, at White Temple COGIC, 3898 Hollywood Ave. with Bishop Roy L.H. Winbush of 1st Jurisdiction of Louisiana COGIC officiating. Interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery. Family hour: 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Bryant Temple COGIC, 6805 West Canal Blvd., Elder Leroy Ealy, Pastor.
Supt. Bryant, retired pastor of Bryant Temple COGIC, died August 16, 2006 at VA Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was born in Belcher, LA and was a lifelong resident of Shreveport.
He is survived by 1 son, 1 daughter, 1 sister, 1 sister-in-law, 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a host of cousins, Bryant Temple Church family & friends. Heavenly Gates Funeral Home.
