This photo was after Ann & Carol Wessinger were married and taken at their home that they built in Newberry across the road from Carter Orchid Farm.

This is Ann standing in front of the old vacant Charter Oak School building maybe a year before it was demolished. This was on Charter Oak Road between #378 & #1 highways and is the school that Ann followed two cousins to at age four and was allowed to continue as a first grader. Ann went to Charter Oak School when the Drafts lived around the corner and in front of present-day Lexington High School (which high school is on #1 highway).

Aunt Ann...ALWAYS the teacher...here she is with grand-neice (sister Trudy's granddaughter), Maggie Sydow. She made an astoundingly positive difference in the lives of so many elementary school children from all races and economic backgrounds.
