Mrs. Nellie Pape Arndt, 34, died
at 8:30 p. m. last Saturday at River-
view hospital, after a lingering ill-
ness. Funeral services will be held
at 9 a. m. Tuesday, at the Sacred
Heart Catholic church, Rev. Father
Frauling officiating. Interment will
be in Riverview cemetery.
Mrs. Arndt was born January 27,
1896, in Duesseldorf, Germany. In
1913 she came to this country with
her family, which located first at
Wilmette, Ill., and later moved to
Nekoosa where she has since resid-
ed. On May 18, 1920, she was mar-
ried at Nekoosa to George J. Arndt.
She was a member of the Altar so-
ciety of the Sacred Heart congrega-
tion.
She leaves surviving her husband;
three children, George jr., Agatha
and Petronella Mary; her father,
Lorenz Pape, sr., Chicago, Ill., two
sisters...
