Woodruff – Funeral services for Charlie S. Gossett, 59, who died at his home near Fort Mill early Friday morning, will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 at the Mount Olive Baptist Church conducted by the Revs. J. P. Sisk, R. R. Gowan, Guy A. Stoner and Samuel L. Bowes, with Masonic rites at the graveside. Pallbearers will be: Paul Sellers, Jess Genobles, Ray Dean, R. J. Leak, Dewey Easler and Othor McCraw. Mr. Gossett was a member of Cavins Lodge 226 AFM and Woodruff Camp Number 442 WOW. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Trannie Easler Gossett of Fort Mill; 2 sons, Clayton Gossett of Fort Mill and J. H. Gossett, both of Woodruff; a daughter Mrs Claude Carnell of Woodruff; 2 brothers, Foster and A. L. Gossett, both of Cowpens Route 1; two sisters, Mrs Cora McCraw and Mrs Lettie Cash, both of Cowpens; a half sister; Mrs. Paul Ledford of Chesnee Route 2 and 8 grandchildren. Lanford-Boyter Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. He was a member of Cavins Lodge 226 AFM and Woodruff Camp Number 442 WOW.He died at his home near Fort Mill S.C. He is buried at Mt. Olive Church in Cowpens S.C.
