James Ray was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, David Hicks and three sisters, Gladys Strealy, Mary McCulloch and Frances Wilkerson.
James Ray is survived by his wife, two sons, daughter, brother, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and extended family and a host of friends.
Funeral services for James Ray Hicks, “Pepaw”, 80, of Ector, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 in Ector Baptist Church under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Bro. Max Chandler and Bro Morris Cook will officiate. Burial will follow in Carson Cemetery in Ector, Texas.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday night.
