Howard R. Noel, 76, Holly Street, died at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, at his home of natural causes.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Nick Sandefur officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
A native of Cadiz, he was born Feb. 5, 1929, the son of the late Garnett Noel and Effie Lou Cunningham Noel Milton.
He was retired from Covington Construction Co. and Pennyrile Rural Electric Cooperative Corp. following 30 years of service.
He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church where he had served on numerous committees.
His wife, Goldie I. Covey Noel, died in 2000.
Survivors include two sons, Howard Mark Noel, Middlesboro, Tenn., Tim Noel, Hopkinsville; two daughters, Barbara D. Noel, Murray, Debbie Lynn Noel Fleming, Lexington; three brothers, James Noel, Cadiz, John Noel, Hopkinsville, Noble Noel, St. Louis, Mo., and five grandchildren.
