VIRGIL L. BRAZIL passed away on July 13, 2006 at Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, FL after suffering an acute heart attack. He was 85. Virgil was born in Gowen, OK, grew up in Haileyville and Hartshorne OK, graduating from Hartshorne HS. He lived in Houston, TX, after his retirement from the US Air Force as a colonel. He served as a bomber pilot during WWII. Virgil and his wife Martha moved to Florida in 2001 to be near their daughter and son-in-law in Kissimmee. Col Brazil is survived by his wife, sons Douglas and Paul, and daughter, Beth Rudy. He is interred in Rose Hill Cemetery in Kissimmee.
