Mabel was a daughter of Richard and Julia (Sullivan) Kenyon. She married Louis William Heiden on October 11, 1916 in Fontana, Wisconsin. They were the parents of seven children: Evelyn Louise, Edward Martin, James Louis, Julia Ellen, Charles Richard, Catherine Mabel and Elizabeth Jane.

Survivors include a son, James, Walworth, Wis.; three daughters, Julia Gile and Catherine Perkins, both of Harvard, and Betty Peterson, Wonder Lake; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
