Thomas died on Oct. 20, 1921 at Renovo, PA. Hew as 75 years, 2 months, and 1 day old, widowed, and a Farmer. Thomas was buried at the Red Hill Cemetery on Oct. 23rd. Thomas Bailey Jr of Tamarack was the informant on his death certificate.

The funeral of Thomas Bailey who died in the Renovo hospital early Friday morning, October 21, was held Sunday morning at 10 o’clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. Wilson. Services were conducted by Brother Dickson, of Cross Fork. On August 19 he passed his 76th birthday and was in his usual health until the Sunday before his death. On Tuesday he was removed to the hospital where everything was done that was possible but he lived only a few days.
Deceased was born in England and came to Scranton with his parents when only two years of age. When a young man his parents settled at Short Run, Potter county and the greater part of his life was spent at that place and here.
Early in life he united in with the M. E. church, at Yochum Hill. As a kind neighbor and friends and especially in the home he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by the following sons and daughters who were present at his funeral: William, of Detroit; Isaac and Mrs. P. W. Knickerbocker, of Betula; Thomas and Mrs. A. D. Wilson, of this place; also by two brothers, William of Scranton and Isaac of Spirit Lake, Idaho.
The remains were laid to rest in Red Hill cemetery beside his wife who died four years ago.
The family wish to thank the friends for the many kind acts shown during this hour of sorrow.
