DIED IN FLORIDA
Mrs. Hadessa Ann Tweed, for many years a highly esteemed citizen of the borough, when the family resided on Main street, died in St. Petersburg, Florida, one day last week. Up until a short time ago the family had been residents of Washington D.C., but moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, Mrs. Tweed at the time being ill and the change was made in the hope that the mild climate would prove beneficial to her health. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Maude Watson and two sons, Herman W. and George W., all of St. Petersburg, Florida. The body was taken to the Lafferty funeral home in Altoona, where private funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Raymond S. Hittinger, pastor of the Logan Valley Presbyterian church, followed by interment in the Logan Valley cemetery. The deceased was a widow of the late John W. Tweed, a soldier of the Civil war and for many years employed in the yard of the old P. & N.W. Railroad.
