This is my fathers mother Irene Merideth Reeder. Born in Sydney Australia, She was the Dauther of Robert George Thomas Meredith and Alice Evelyn Catherall. She met her husband Elmer Carroll Reeder who was serving in the US army and brought her here to the states. They had 7 children Dennis Edward Reeder(my dad), Harold Wayne Reeder, Merle Ross Reeder, Richard Carroll Reeder and David Carroll Reeder, Barbara Jane Reeder and Vickie Lee Reeder. She was the only sister that ever left Australia to come to America. She still has 2 remainning Sister in australia living today. I always remember my Aussie Grandma having a green and yellow parakeet she loved birds and talked oftern about the animals of Australia. I have been told that I picked up her aussie accent when I use to visit with her I still catch myself to this day sometimes with my Aussie heritage coming through. Grandma Irene was a very special lady.
