Burr J. Fowler, 72, died at his home, 819 East Broad Street, Montoursville. 31 March 1936 in Montoursville, at 10:15 o'clock this morning after a long illness. Mr. Fowler was a patient at the Williamsport Hospital last August but had been removed to his home when his condition had improved. He had been bedfast at home since March 10 but his condition was not thought to be serious and his death was sudden. Mr. Fowler had been an employee of the James V. Bennett contracting firm for 32 years, until the time of his illness. Surviving him are a son, George A. Fowler, Emaus; two daughters, Mrs. H. A. Moon, and Mrs. Claude Diezel, Montoursville; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. O. E. Sunday, pastor of the Bethany Lutheran Church of which Mr. Fowler was a member, will officiate. Burial will be made at Montoursville. Friends may view the body at the home Thursday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock
