Alberta (Cado) Ballew, 90, of Lexington passed away November 12, 2020 at Meyer Care Center, Higginsville. A graveside service will be Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Alberta was born November 15, 1929 in Lexington to Henry and Minnie (Rostine) Cado. She graduated from Lexington High School and then married David Ballew in 1950. He preceded her in death in 1995. Alberta was a homemaker. She enjoyed her church, quilting, gardening and spending time with her family. Alberta was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her children, David Ballew and wife Ruth of Lexington, Paul Ballew and wife Penny of Evansville, IN, Steven Ballew and wife Jo Lee of Windsor, MO and John Ballew of Higginsville; 7 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and her sister in law, Janet Cado. Alberta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter in law, Vicki Ballew; brothers, James Cado and Henry Cado, Jr. and sister Anna Louise Spease.
