Born September 16, 1949 at Jacksonville, she was a daughter of the late J.C. Lackie and Lorene Grice Lackie..
A homemaker and member of Kingsland Missionary Baptist Church, Nanny, as she was affectionately known, loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching cooking shows and trying new recipes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, James Butch Barraque; and a brother, William Lackie.
Nanny is survived by her daughters, Tina Wilson (Al), Teresa Rucker (Danny)
and Lisa McQuay; siblings, Shelby Hamilton and Cecil Lackie; special friend, Roy Moyars; 12 grandchildren, Brandy, Thomas, Amanda, Zack, Charlie, Ashley, Rachel, Carol, Trey, Molly, Courtney, and Michael; 20 great-grandchildren;
and many other loving family and friends.
The family would like to acknowledge the great care she received from the nurses and caregivers from Area Agency on Aging and the Hospice Angels.
Services will be Monday, 2:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel
with Al Wilson and Rusty Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
