Mrs. Maude Hartgroves, 78, long time resident of Electra, died Saturday, July 3, in a local nursing home.
She was born June 5, 1893 in Goliad, Texas and had lived in Electra 54 years.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 5, from the Memorial Chapel of James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home with David Rix, minister of the Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial was in Electra Memorial Park under direction of James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home.
She is survived by five nieces, Mae Morrell of Vernon, Angie Anderson of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. G.F. Linton of Newport Beach, Calif., Mrs. Myrtle Manigk of Dallas and Mrs. Jack Carrington of Vernon, and one nephew, William L. Lawrence of Rising Star, Texas._
