Mrs. Josie Bankston, age 93, originally of Hartwell, GA peacefully passed away in Anderson, South Carolina on October 23, 2015. Funeral services and interment will be held graveside on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in Oak Grove Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Rev Wendy Peacock will officiate.

Mrs. Bankston was born on July 11, 1922, the daughter of the late William Clarence Robinson and the late Eva Irene Devane Robinson in Lakeland, Florida. She was a homemaker and a Tog shop seamstress. She attended the Hartwell First United Methodist Church in Hartwell, GA.

She is predeceased in death by her parents William and Eva Robinson; husband Thomas Gaines Bankston, a sister, Mary Mask and a brother, William Robinson.
