Jimmy Ray Hedgecoth, 73, of Crossville, passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
He was born March 13, 1942, in Crossville, son of the late Garfield William Hedgecoth Sr. and Alta Louise (Young) Hedgecoth.
He worked as a carpenter in the construction business and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his son, Terry Hedgecoth, TX; brother, Garfield W. Hedgecoth Jr. (Margaret), Harriman, TN; and sisters, Joyce Parker (Vaughn), Memphis, TN, Katherine Justice (Paul), Crossville, TN, Kaye Shillings, Crossville, TN, and Faye Green (LeMarr), Crab Orchard, TN.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Alice Hedgecoth, Reba Winningham, Ester Tollett, Genese Hale and Jeanette Byer.
Funeral services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Terry Swaw officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from noon to 1 p.m. Interment will be in Hedgecoth Cemetery.
