Ollie Cunningham
Ollie Cunningham, 73, died early this morning at Lutheran Homes. He had formerly resided at 1423 Lincoln Blvd. Services will be held Saturday at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home. Burial will be in Illinois City. Ollie Cunningham was born July 23, 1905 in Illinois City, IL, the son of Martin and Mattie Hays (Hayes) Cunningham. He had lived in Muscatine most of his life, His marriage to Doris M. Ryan took place Nov. 12, 1924 in Muscatine. He attended Walnut Park Baptist Church. Mr. Cunningham retired in 1971 after 30 years of employment with the Railroad C.R.I. & P.
Survivors include three sons Marlin E., Irwin L., and Loren A. all of Muscatine; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Vivian) Busch Jr., and Mrs. Richard (Darlene) Hill both of Muscatine; 17 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Richard (Bessie) Brown of Muscatine.
He was preceded in death by his wife, two daughters, one son, two brothers and two sisters.
