Abraham Crays was born March 13, 1873 in Pennsylvania to Richard Crays and Elizabeth Dickey.

Abraham died on Nov. 26, 1916 at Renovo, PA. He was 43 years old, single, a Car Inspector, and lived at 128 16th St. Abraham was buried at the Fairview Cemetery on Nov. 28th. Mrs. Wm Keller of Renovo was the informant on his death certificate.

Crays – Abraham Crays, a car inspector for the P.R.R. employed at night at the “Hump” at 10th street, Renovo, was found dead in bed in his residence at 8 o’clock Sunday morning. He was 43 years old. Heart disease was the cause of death. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters, William, James, and Richard Crays, Mrs. W. G. Keller and Mrs. Bruce Cummings. The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon in Zion’s Lutheran church by Rev. L. M. C. Weiksel, pastor, assisted by Rev. H. A. Straube, D. D., of the M. E. church. Interment was made in the Fairview cemetery.
