Zona Mae Bean, 89, of Dallas died Monday, June 1, 1998, at a Dallas hospital.

Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at Forest Hill Cemetery at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 3. The Rev. James Barnes will officiate. The family will receive friends from 8:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born May 14, 1909, in Swain, AL to Tom Ed and Lucy Idella Prince Bean.

She worked for 25 years as secretary for General Fire Extinguisher Corp. She was a member of Petty Baptist Church.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Maxel Landers of Paris; two nieces, Ann Bush of Paris and Pat Wood of Mesquite; and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a niece, June Cox.
