Mrs. Smith was a loving wife and mother.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Cooey and brother, Bill Cooey.

Survivors: husband, Robert Smith of Valley Mills TX; son, David Smith of Valley Mills TX; daughter, Lori Ferguson of Kaufman TX; mother, Jessie Paris of Waco TX; sisters, Linda Weeks and Loretta Cooey both of Waco TX, Lilly Johnson of Abilene TX, Alta Lagoey of Clifton TX, and Edith Walpole of Iola TX; brothers, Norman Cooey of Houston TX and James Ray Baldridge of Waco TX; grandsons, Chris, Allen, Travis, Zane, and Nathan; many nieces and nephews.
