Funeral services are pending at James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home for Mable Jewell Harlow Bowden who died February 20th in Texas city, Texas.

Mrs. Bowden, who resided at 408 W. Cleveland, was born Nov. 23, 1902 in Collin County, Texas. She married Sebe T. Bowden Sept. 4, 1925 in Vashti, Texas. He preceded her in death July 24th, 1970. She had resided in Electra for the past 36 years.

Survivors include: five sons, Wayne Bowden, of Abilene, Leon Bowden and Jim Bowden, both of Electra, Cecil Bowden of Nigeria, Africa, and Monty Bowden of Kermit; four daughters, Billie McArinch of Texas City, Ina Loyd of Andrews, Fay Janzen of Jakarta, Indonesia, and Donna Hodges of Valley View; three brothers, Ray Harlow of Nocona and Carl Harlow of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Lewis Bell of Wichita Falls and Toni Wilson of Midland; 26 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Lundie.

Mrs. Bowden was life long member of the Methodist Church._
