Paul C. Decker

GREENUP – Paul C. Decker, 66, of Greenup died at 7:52 p.m. Friday (Jan. 16, 1987) in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. today in Jack Oak Church of God with the Rev. James Baldwin officiating.  Burial will be in Jack Oak Cemetery.

He was born Jan. 16, 1921 in Cumberland County, a son of Minar L. and Nellie I. Woolever Decker.  He married Mossie Osburn July 24, 1943 in Montgomery, Ala.  She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Maj. Paul O. of Fort Worth, Texas, Jeffrey S. of Greenup; one daughter, Carolyn Ferris of Greenup; his mother, Nellie Decker of Greenup; one sister, Dora Sherrick of Miami Lakes, Fla. and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He was a retired Blaw Knox supervisor and a veteran of WWII.  He was a member of the Jack Oak Church of God.

Bishop Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
