Minar was the son of Columbus A. and Dora May (Hutton) Decker.  He married Nellie I. Woolever on 5 Apr 1920.

MINAR L. DECKER

GREENUP – Minar L. Decker, 79, of rural Greenup died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday in his home.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Bishop Funeral Home, Greenup.

Mr. Decker was born in Cumberland County, the son of Columbus and Dora Decker.  He married Nellie Woolever in 1920.  She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Paul of Greenup; one daughter, Mrs. Dora Sherrick of Miami Lakes, Fla.; two half-brothers, Virgil Butler of Charleston and Lawrence Butler of Danville; one stepsister, Mrs. Eva Foreman of Arthur; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was a member of Jack Oak Church of God, north of Greenup.

GREENUP – Funeral services for Minar L. Decker will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Jack Oak Church of God, north of Greenup, with Rev. Jim Walker officiating.

Burial will be in Jack Oak Cemetery.  Friends may call at Bishop Funeral Home, Greenup, after 3 p.m. today.

Mr. Decker, 79, of rural Greenup died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday in his home.
