He served in the US Army and he was a member of Monaghan Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons: Steve Conner (Beth), Randy Conner (Donna), Jeff Conner (Susan); daughters Lisa Henson (Douglas), Leslie Gosnell (Albert); six grandchildren: Brent, Kevin, Ashton, Bekah, Bradley and Griffin; one sister Bonnie Collins.
He was predeceased by his wife Hazel Conner and twelve siblings.
