Mr. Tracy Sizemore, 85, of Lapeer (formerly of Detroit/Walled Lake) died on Saturday, March 15, 2008. He was born on January 22, 1923 in West Virginia to Callie “Cal” and Zannie (Blankenship) Sizemore.
Mr. Sizemore proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Fenton V.F.W. Post #3243.
He is survived by his son, Monty (Kathy) Sizemore of Lapeer; grandchildren, Kimberly (James) Rice of Flushing, Ivy Sizemore of Atlanta, GA, Beau Sizemore of Lapeer; great-grandchildren, Montana, Hunter, Scout; companion, Mary Lou Beasley and Family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Sizemore, in 1998; parents; siblings, including 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or Fenton V.F.W. Post #3243.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Pastor Peter DeKlerk officiated. Burial was in Stiles Cemetery, Lapeer.
