PRINCETON (RNS) - Services for Mrs. Vada M. Reed, 74, of 802 Front St., Princeton, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Key Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Morris Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Reed died in a Princeton hospital Wednesday morning after a long illness. Born in Pineville, May 1, 1903, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Zinn E. Blankenship Sizemore. Mrs. Reed was a member of the Key Street United Methodist Church, American Association of Retired Persons, had lived in Princeton 26 years and operated Reed Grocery on Thome Street 14 years.
Survivors include her husband, J. W. Reed; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Clyburn of Bluefield and Mrs. Audrey Canterburry of Mount Hope; and four brothers, Kyle and Fred, both of Fort Myers, Fla., Tracy of Detroit, Mich., and E.V. Sizemore of Dixie.
The family will receive friends at Memorial Funeral Directory in Princeton from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services. Pallbearers will be J. W. Mills, Bill Mills, Sammy Mills, Charlie McCoy, Ray Eads and Paul Quesenberry and members of the Princeton Old Guard will serve as honorary pallbearers.
