Mack Williams, 69, of Batesville, died Friday, October 11, 2002, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center of heart failure.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 19, at 2 p.m. at Springhill Asa Baptist Church in Courtland. Rev. Louis Wilson will officiate the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Cooley's Mortuary, Inc. has charge of arrangements.
Williams, son of the late Jake and Cordie Sue Williams, was born February 12, 1933, in Batesville. He was a retired nurse assistant at South Panola Community Hospital and a member of Springhill Asa Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Addie V. Williams of Batesville; five sons, Robert Earl Williams, Mack Arthur Williams and Willie Roy Williams, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Johnny Wayne Williams of Memphis, Tennessee, and Jessie Earl Williams of Batesville; a daughter, Bertha Williams of Milwaukee; two brothers, Hosie Williams of Milwaukee and John Henry Williams of Chicago, Illinois; 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
