Edith was the daughter of Frank Fethkenher and Tina Riekelfs. She married Leslie Vern Hyde on 25 February 1909 in Storm Lake, Buena Vista, Iowa. They were the parents of 3 children: Hazel, Gerald, and Dollie. She married 2nd Earl Betsinger on Jan 8, 1921 in Storm Lake, IA.

Storm Lake Register - August 13, 1940 - Mrs Earl H Betsinger, 47, well known Storm Lake woman passed away at her home, 600 Grand avenue, Saturday evening while sleeping. She had been in declining health for some time and had been quite seriously ill the past 15 weeks. However she was believed to be improving and had been removed to her home from the hospital two weeks ago. Her death resulted from a blood clot.

Funeral services are being held this afternoon at the Methodist church. Interment will be in the Lake View cemetery.

Edith Fethkenher, daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Fethkenher, was born Dec 3, 1892 at Varina. In 1908 she was united in marriage to Leslie Hyde and they made their home at Hopkins, MN. To this union 3 children were born: Gerald, Hazel (Mrs E.L. Crowley) and Dolle (Mrs T.R. Fuller). Both her daughters are residents of Pasadena, TX.

Mr Hyde passed away in the spring of 1918 and she and the children came to Storm Lake. On Jan 8, 1921 she was married to Earl H Betsinger and has since lived continuously in Storm Lake.

Besides her husband, son and two daughters, she is survived by 3 grandchildren: Linda Beth and Kay Crowley and Ann Elizabeth Fuller. Her parents, Mr and Mrs Frank Fethkenher, and brother Roy of Storm Lake and four sisters: Florence (Mrs Will Stark) Storm Lake; Beatrice (Mrs Roy Morian) Jefferson; Lena (Mrs Jack Spooner) Fort Dodge; and Mabel (Mrs Boone Shelley) of Lebanan, MO.

Mr Edwin Crowley and daughters and Mrs T.R. Fuller and daughter arrived in Omaha Monday afternoon and were met by the formers sister-in-law, Miss Grace Crowley.
